Over 120 Years of Tradition
In 1879, Edmonton's first horse competition took place in
Fort Edmonton's Hudson Bay Post and over 120 years later,
the tradition continues! The Edmonton Northlands Horse
Show returns to Northlands Park for the 5th year after many

years of the show being held at Whitemud Equine Centre
from 1982 to 2002.
The 2008 Tournament looks to be an exciting show once again,
with up to 400 horses and riders vying for over $120,000 in prize

money.
The Edmonton Northlands Horseshow is proud to welcome back
the 2008 KUBOTA Cup Canadian Show Jumping Series to
Northlands Park. Along with the ATCO Cup and the National Bank
Financial Jumper Classic, many of Canada's top riders
like Ian Millar, Karen Cudmore, Tami Phillips, Albert Kley and
Jonathon Asselin will compete for top honour in the ring.
